Let's be honest: a daily wipe-down doesn't address what matters.
What your employees don't see in their cup, your machine accumulates every day: oxidized coffee oils in the brew group, limescale in the circuits, milk residue in the steam wand, biofilm in the drip tray. Invisible, until it affects the taste or breaks a part.
Our deep cleaning service, performed on-site by Amina, our maintenance specialist.
What's included:
- Complete disassembly of the brew group and chemical cleaning of components
- Descaling of internal circuits (boiler, heat exchanger, pipes)
- Deep cleaning of the milk system (steam wand, hoses, fittings)
- Disinfection of the drip tray, grids, and spent grounds bins
- Polishing of exterior surfaces and casing
- Inspection of gaskets, jets, and pump pressures
- Cup test and output calibration before return to service
Recommended frequency: Every 4 months for standard use
Do I have to completely shut down the machine? Yes, the service requires a shutdown of approximately 60 to 90 minutes. We'll plan the optimal time with you — typically early morning or late afternoon to minimize impact on your employees.
What's the difference from the daily maintenance my team already does? Daily cleaning (rinsing, emptying trays, wiping) addresses the surface. Deep cleaning tackles internal components inaccessible without disassembly: brew group, hydraulic circuits, milk lines. This is what prevents costly breakdowns and preserves taste.
Is this included in my service contract? Depending on your package. Contracts generally include annual or semi-annual deep cleaning. Contact us to verify your coverage before ordering this à la carte service.
What happens if Amina finds a defective part during cleaning? We document and contact you before any additional intervention. No repairs are performed without your prior approval.
Is the service offered outside Montreal? The service is offered on the island of Montreal and the South Shore at no additional cost. For more remote areas, travel fees may apply — please contact us.
